Good Morning!!

Winter isn't here yet, but Fall is about to become "Middle Aged", and before we know it, its red head will have turned grey, or white, and we'll bury it. And we'll enjoy the fresh whiteness of a blank paged season. Nothing decorating the earth's pages except sparkles.
When dirt begins to make its brown ink stains on the snow, we'll know that the world is going through the first painful stages of healing. That spring is on its way and we just have to be patient, the way we should be with ourselves. When our leaves fall and we must start anew, when we seem white and listless and quiet and like a ghost of ourselves, and when no one likes us because we've become cold and afraid -- if we can wait past that, we can grow like springtime comes, and begin to enjoy summer.
Just be patient . . . sometimes the blizzards keep coming and you think it will never end. "6 more weeks of winter" turns into 6 more years and you wonder how much longer you can hold on, but if you can make it that far, trust me, I believe that you can. Springtime has been a longtime coming, but I can't hurry summer into my life, so I'm just hoping that soon it will be time for me to shed my coat, because I'm sick of being cold, and I'm sure many of you are, too.

Just be patient. Springtime will come. Summer will come. The kids have a chance - we have a chance - you're not behind, just start now. It's okay. ✰
